If you are planning a pre/post trip, ensure that your travel insurance covers the entire duration of your trip. If you prefer to purchase your own insurance through your preferred insurer, there will be no reimbursement from PACS.

Who needs a visa to China

For passport holders from India, Indonesia, Myanmar, The Philippines, Taiwan, Thailand, and Vietnam, a visa application is mandatory before departing, regardless of age. If you need to apply for a visa, you can do so through the link provided here.
Application Procedure

China Embassy does not directly accept ordinary visa application from the applicants.

Please complete visa application form online, submit the application documents personally to the Chinese Visa Application Service Center (CVASC) by appointment.

Please note that you may be required to visit the Visa Office of the Embassy in person to have an interview as deemed necessary by a consular officer.

Appointment is required for submission of your visa. Walk-in service is also available during office hours.

Please note that NO mail-in/online/fax applications are accepted.

You or your agent will be able to pick up your passport with visa on the date printed on your Pick-up slip, unless otherwise notified by the Visa Office of the Embassy. Mail-back visa service is NOT provided.

You must pay the visa fee once your application is processed and approved.

Prior Departure to Guangzhou

Register yourself on the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MFA)

Print all necessary travel documents and ensure that you have the following documents with you.

Passport – ensure that it has a validity of at least six months from your intended date of return to Singapore

Prior Returning to Guangzhou

Singapore Arrival Card

Complete Singapore Arrival Card (SGAC) within 3 days before arrival in Singapore. All travellers including Singapore Citizens and Permanent Residents are required to complete the SGAC. Upon the completion of your SGAC submission, you will receive an email acknowledgement which you can present for smoother pre-boarding and immigration checks.

If you experience the onset of any COVID-19 symptoms (fever, cough, runny nose, sore throat, loss of taste and / or smell) before departure, please inform PACS and Global Travel immediately.
